Google Doodle Celebrates Balamani Amma's 113th Birthday

The Google Doodle honours the 113th birth anniversary of famous Indian poet Balamani Amma, the grandmother of Malayalam literature. Over a century in the past, on July 19, Balamani Amma became born.

Today, on Balamani Amma's start anniversary, the Google Doodle features a colourful and colourful example honouring her existence and contributions. Balamani Amma, born in the Keralan area of Thrissur, had received numerous honours for her writing, consisting of the Saraswati Samman and the Padma Vibhushan, India's 2nd-highest civilian honour. Balamani Amma became the mom of Kamala Das, who became nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature in 1984.
